I'm finally getting caught up on updating the handful of social media outlets I subscribe to with progress reports (and to ensure nobody thinks I've died).  2011's done- finally.  My full recap of those 365 days can be found at my proper blarg: slomotionart.blogspot.com (self-indulgnce at its finest!)  As we stretch our legs and dive into the coming days, I'm in the midst of both starting and finishing two projects.  First off, GOLGOTHA (written by Andrew Harrison, and art from which I've posted previously) will be wrapped by February. Then, I'll be digging my heels in with a new book called TRASHLANDERS, which is already proven to be a proverbial blast.

But more importantly, we've FINALLY got a book seeing print (by means other than myself or a company that inadvertently goes belly-up), that being- TAD CALDWELL AND THE MONSTER KID.  Written by Kurt Amacker (Dead Souls, Immortal 60) and illustrated by yours truly- I ended up kicking things to eleven and wrapping the whole shebang at lightning-fast speeds to hustle to the printers.  The 132 page graphic novel will see its official release through Seraphemera Books, but making a super-sly early debut at WIZARD WORLD NEW ORLEANS (January 28-29th) with Kurt's appearance.  Be sure and stop by his table, tell him how brutally awesome he is, buy 6 copies of the book, give em to 6 of your friends and each of you tell 6 more people about it (see what I did there? triple 6? Number of the beast? it's a thinkpiece.)

In the meantime, I'm at the desk.  Hopefully providing more frequent updates than I have been.

Hope y'all had a killer New Year's!

xoxo
